INGREDIENTS
- Ghee - 2 tablespoons
- Bay leaves - 2
- Star anises - 2
- Cloves - ½ teaspoon
- Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Onions (finely chopped) - ½ cup
- Green chillies (slit) - 2
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
- Green peas - ½ cup
- Corn kernels - 1 cup
- Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Milk - 1 cup
- Water - 1 cup
- Basmati rice (prepare: soaked for 30 minutes) - 1 cup
- Coriander leaves (finely chopped) - 2 tablespoons
METHOD
1. In a pressure cooker heat ghee and add bay leaf, star anise, cloves, cinnamon stick, black pepper, cumin seeds and saute.

2. Add onion and saute until they becomes translucent.
3. Add green chilly, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder and saute well.

4. Add green peas and corn kernels. Saute for a minute.
5. Add garam masala powder and salt. Saute again.
6. Add soaked basmati rice. Saute for a minute.
7. Add milk and water.
8. Pressure cook for 2 whistles on medium flame.
9. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
10. Your Corn Pulao is ready to be served!
